Our Ministries
There are many wonderful ministries at Waycross FUMC, with plenty of opportunities to get involved and make a difference in the community.
Children's
Ministry
Waycross FUMC's Children's ministry includes kids from nursery to elementary school age. We have Sunday School classes for each age group, and a Parent's Night Out once a month!
Youth Ministry
The main event for 6th-12th grade.
This group on meets the 4th Sunday of the month at 5pm.
L.A.M.B.S.
Our LAMBS (Love All My Brothers and Sisters) ministry provides food for school-aged children to ensure they have decent meals over weekends and holiday breaks.
Feed the Gap
Feed the Gap distributes bags of food to students in need during school breaks and holidays.
Every Day
With Love
EDWL provides assistance with utility bills and food. Food bags are distributed on Thursdays from 9am - 1pm.
Prayer Shawl
Ministry
This group knits & crochets hats, scarves, and prayer shawls to be given away. They meet on Wednesdays at 3pm in the library. No needle-working experience necessary!
Scouting BSA
The Scouts meet on Mondays at 6pm at the Scout Hut located behind the church.
